Acting Classes

 These fun interactive classes teach the basics and art of acting by using a variety of games and workshop style activities. Advanced students will explore these techniques in more depth & detail. Some topics to be included are Improvisation, Musical Theatre Auditions, Theatre Games & Character Development

ACTING:                          Saturday 12:30-1:30-6-9yr old

                                            Saturday 1:30-2:30-10-12 yr old

                                       Saturday 2:30-3:30-Musical Theatre 12+

Acting Classes culminate in performances in December and May.

One Act Plays will also be offered in conjunction with these classes.

Musical Theatre Productions

               Students work to rehearse and perform a full-length musical. These productions teach        

                 students the essence of musical theatre through choreography, singing and acting. Special effort  is made to include all performers in as much of the production as possible.

We offer productions for ages 7-12, 10-16 and for 13 and older.

There is a $25.00 non refundable audition fee which will be applied to your production fee.

 Taste of Broadway -Ages 7-11

Friday 7:30-8:30pm

This class explores the fun of  Broadway shows explored through singing,  acting  and dancing.

Voice & Piano Workshops

Lessons are 1 hour.  The students  receive 20 minutes of private lesson, 20 minutes at the computer to reinforce skills with music software and 20 minutes of practice. Class format may change depending on the teacher and levels in the class. As the student progresses, the teacher may recommend more time, then students will go into a private class.  Students are taught using lesson books, theory books and scale books and also are given pieces to motivate and stimulate them to enjoy playing.  

Ages 7-16      Beginner—Intermediate

Private Music Lessons

We offer private instruction in piano, violin, viola, cello, guitar and voice.                   

All lessons are taught by our professional staff. Lessons customarily are 1/2 hour. As the student progresses, the teacher may recommend more time. Students are taught using lesson books, theory books, scale books and are given pieces to motivate and stimulate them to enjoy playing.

Students must be at least age 5 to start private instrumental lessons, voice students must be                  assessed before starting private lessons..
